Forward With Felicia
We’re building a people-powered movement rooted in equity, truth, and local accountability—not party politics or empty promises. This campaign is about real solutions led by real people—solutions grounded in affordable housing, sustainable infrastructure, climate resilience, racial justice, and community-first leadership.
I’m running for New Braunfels City Council – District 4 to bring that kind of leadership home. I believe in housing for all, education for all, and policies that serve people over profits. That means expanding access to affordable housing, supporting public schools and educators, investing in infrastructure that works for everyone, and ensuring local government truly reflects and responds to the people it serves.
I support reproductive justice, equal protections for women and girls, LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant rights, and the safety, dignity, and leadership of all gender identities. I stand with working families, renters, small business owners, and neighbors who’ve been left out of the conversation for far too long.
This campaign is powered by F.A.N. (Felicia’s Action Network), built by neighbors—not corporations. We’re organizing early, fundraising with intention, and showing what it looks like when community leads the way.
This seat is ours. And we’re moving forward—together.
Why I Am Running

I’m running for New Braunfels City Council – District 4 because for too long, too many voices have been missing from the room.
Not ignored.
…MISSING.
In a city as vibrant, growing, and diverse as ours, it’s time we stopped pretending that leadership only looks one way. I didn’t move here to sit quietly. I moved here to live freely. And I’m not alone.
I’m running because:
- Our district deserves a council member who listens to everyone—not just the loudest or most well-connected.
- Families should be able to afford to live here without sacrificing their safety, identity, or dignity.
- Young voters, new residents, and longtime community members alike deserve leadership that reflects their values.
This campaign isn’t about party lines. It’s about real representation.
It’s about standing up—boldly, visibly, and unapologetically—for every neighbor who’s been told to sit down, be quiet, or “just be grateful to be here.”
Meet Felicia
I’m not a politician. I’m a neighbor, a writer, and a public servant who has spent my life building spaces where people are seen, heard, and included.
I studied apparel design and business marketing at Texas Woman’s University before launching and leading a grassroots marketing company that expanded into multiple states. Along the way, I also taught women and youth to sew, running a school that offered practical skills in creativity, confidence, and self-sufficiency until the pandemic forced its closure.
My work has always combined entrepreneurship and service. I’ve volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, helped plant community gardens, and supported food drives and charities that strengthen families and neighborhoods. In July 2025, I launched FROUSA.org — the only independent media outlet covering New Braunfels + Comal County from the inside out — because our community deserves a voice not controlled by corporate interests.
Today, I’m pursuing a degree in Real Estate Management with a focus on law and housing equity. I’m bringing that knowledge, and a lifetime of service and leadership, to this campaign. I’m running for City Council because District 4 deserves representation that is transparent, accountable, and committed to building a city where everyone has a seat at the table.
What I’m Fighting For
These aren’t just talking points.
These are the values guiding every decision I’ll make at City Hall.
Here’s what I’m fighting for:
Affordable Housing for All
Too many lifelong residents and essential workers are being priced out of their own city. I’ll fight for policies that prioritize affordability, protect renters, and hold developers accountable to the communities they’re building in.
Safe Neighborhoods, Not Just More Patrols
Safety should look like well-lit streets, community-based programs, and spaces where neighbors know each other—not just more funding for ticket books and traffic stops. I believe in proactive safety, not reactive enforcement.
Protecting the Soul of New Braunfels
Our water is life in New Braunfels. I will fight to protect the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers, ensure fair access to clean water, and hold developers accountable for growth that threatens our environment. Protecting our rivers also means honoring the unique cultural roots of this city — safeguarding both our natural resources and the community identity that makes New Braunfels home.
Infrastructure That Honors the People Who Live Here
We need roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems that serve everyone—not just tourists or those in new developments. From water equity during droughts to thoughtful city planning, I’ll fight for infrastructure that keeps up with our growth and respects our past.
Real Access to Government
No more closed doors, unanswered calls, or decisions made behind the scenes. I will host open forums, speak plainly, and make sure every resident—especially the ones historically overlooked—has a seat at the table.
Economic Justice & Small Business Growth
I’ll advocate for local entrepreneurs, not just mega-developers. That includes fair permitting, access to city grants, and ensuring that underrepresented business owners get a fair shot.
