September 21, 2025I’m scheduled to interview Ryan Spencer very soon on the C4 Podcast. Ryan is the Executive Director of Comal Conservation, and he has spent years studying and teaching about the water that keeps our region alive — from the Guadalupe River to the aquifers that flow beneath us.
Ryan holds a BS in Water Studies, a Master of Applied Geography in Geographic Information Science, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Aquatic Resources and Integrative Biology at Texas State University. His research focuses on place-based education and environmental mindfulness — but more importantly, he works every day to help our community understand what’s at stake when it comes to our water, land, and wildlife.
This conversation is an important one — and I want your voice included.

Note: This interview is for educational and community purposes only. Ryan’s views are his own and do not represent an endorsement by me, my campaign, or any of my businesses.
Make sure your question is counted — and share this survey link with friends and neighbors who care about the future of the Guadalupe River and our aquifers.
Stay tuned in the F.A.N. Community for updates on when the episode will air and for details about the watch party we’ll be hosting online.
