This is not just a newsletter or a group.

We are a people-powered and people-funded movement built by neighbors, voters, and everyday people who want better for our city and our community.

Felicia’s Action Network (F.A.N.), Inc. is a grassroots civic action network rooted in community, accountability, and real local impact. Change does not start somewhere else. It starts right here, with people who care about where they live and the future they are building together.

Whether you are ready to take action, prefer organizing behind the scenes, or simply want to stay informed, F.A.N., Inc. gives you a place to belong and a way to participate. This is where ideas turn into action and where every voice matters.

Led by Felicia Ray Owens, F.A.N., Inc. connects people across New Braunfels, Comal County, and the Hill Country to meaningful ways to engage. That includes local issues, community events, voter education, advocacy, and organizing efforts that strengthen democracy from the ground up.

One of the organizing groups within F.A.N., Inc. is Indivisible Comal County (ICC), a local chapter of the national Indivisible movement. ICC focuses on expanding civic participation, challenging backroom politics, and building people-powered coalitions centered on real needs and real voices in Comal County.

When you join F.A.N., Inc., you are joining a broader network with multiple ways to plug in based on your interests, your availability, and the issues you care about most. This includes opportunities to engage through ICC.

You do not need political experience. You do not need a title. You only need a commitment to your community and a willingness to participate in ways that feel right for you.

We Marched Together in New Braunfels | MLK Day 2026 Reflection

On January 19, 2026, our community came together in New Braunfels to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. What began as a march became a powerful expression of unity, peace, and shared humanity. Walking alongside neighbors, volunteers, and my own family was a reminder that real change is rooted in people showing up together, with dignity and purpose.
