Job Description
F.A.N. is seeking a dedicated Community Events Assistant to help coordinate and support local events across District 4 and Comal County. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, engaging directly with the public, and creating smooth, welcoming experiences that bring people together around shared purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and logistics for campaign forums, neighborhood meetups, and voter education events
- Assist with materials setup, event flow, and community check-ins
- Coordinate volunteers and help brief them on roles
- Serve as a point of contact during live events and debriefs
- Help promote upcoming events through flyers and social distribution
This role is great for someone who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and wants to be in the room where real conversations and relationships are built. You’ll work closely with the F.A.N. team and directly support the Forward With Felicia campaign and other organizing efforts.
