Diddy’s trial was the latest in a line of high-profile celebrity criminal cases
July 2, 2025They called it beautiful.
But when you actually sit down and read the words…page after page of cruel rollbacks, dangerous deregulation, and life-threatening priorities; it doesn’t feel beautiful at all.
This is H.R.1, the very first bill House Republicans introduced in the 118th Congress. That alone tells you everything. Their top priority wasn’t voting rights. It wasn’t healthcare, public schools, or feeding families. It was this: a bill that expands fossil fuel drilling, guts environmental protections, fast-tracks corporate projects without community input, and silences the public at every level.
But it goes deeper. This bill doesn’t just deregulate oil and gas; it opens the door to even more cuts to food assistance, health access, and education. It clears the path for the dismantling of public programs that millions of working families rely on, right after they have already fired thousands of government workers through so-called “budget cuts.” They’ve gutted education. Slashed school support. Blocked SNAP expansions. Then turned around and spent millions on military theatrics, birthday parades, and political flexing.
The irony? Most of the lawmakers pushing this haven’t even read it. But I did. And the first few pages alone are terrifying.
This is more than politics. It’s a policy of harm. A blueprint of greed. And if passed in full, it will cost real people their homes, their health, and their lives—especially in frontline communities, low-income neighborhoods, and anywhere people are already being told to just “make do.”
So I’m putting the full bill here: BILLS-119hr1eas
Because you deserve to know what’s being done in your name.
Read it. Share it. Understand what they mean when they say “energy dominance.”
It’s not about light. It’s about power.
And who they’re willing to burn for it.
