There was a time when I believed putting myself first was selfish—that my worth was defined by how much I could give to others, how many roles I could juggle, how little I could ask for in return. I know I’m not alone in this.
For so many women, self-love is often treated as an afterthought—something we’ll get to once the work is done, once the kids are settled, once the world feels a little less chaotic. But if recent years have taught us anything, it’s this: The world is always in turmoil.
