As a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and public servant, I’ve dedicated my life to building platforms that uplift others. From founding FRO Media and creating spaces for women through Her She Squad, to organizing community action through F.A.N., my mission is clear: to help people grow, rise, and thrive—together.
Meet Felicia
I studied apparel design and business marketing at Texas Woman’s University before building and leading a grassroots marketing company that expanded into multiple cities and states. Alongside my entrepreneurial work, I also taught women and youth to sew, running a school that offered practical skills in creativity, confidence, and self-sufficiency until the pandemic forced its closure.
My leadership has always been rooted in service. I’ve volunteered as a Girl Scout troop leader and regional manager with the Girl Scouts of Greater Fort Worth, helped plant community gardens across the city, and supported food drives and charities that strengthen families and neighborhoods. Service has never been an afterthought — it has been central to who I am and how I lead.
That same commitment to truth and community led me to start a media company, FRO Media, which in July 2025 launched FROUSA.org — the only independent media outlet covering New Braunfels + Comal County from the inside out. Building an outlet outside of corporate control has been one of my proudest accomplishments, ensuring that real people and real stories in the Hill Country finally have a platform. FRO Media will also expand globally through FRO Global, connecting local voices to wider conversations.
Today, I’m pursuing a degree in Real Estate Management with a focus on law and housing equity, bringing that same entrepreneurial drive and lived experience into civic leadership. Born and raised in Dallas, I now call New Braunfels home, where I continue to raise my family and fight for a transparent, livable, and inclusive city.

Why I Serve
My journey from survival to leadership has always been about creating spaces where voices aren’t silenced and communities aren’t ignored. From volunteering with Girl Scouts and planting community gardens, to building independent platforms for women and launching FROUSA.org, service has always been at the center of my life.
I believe leadership means showing up — not hiding behind titles, closed doors, or backroom deals. It means standing with families who are priced out of housing, small business owners who can’t access resources, and neighbors who deserve safe streets and clean water.
This work isn’t about politics. It’s about service, equity, and legacy — ensuring that my daughters, and every child growing up in the Hill Country, inherit a community that truly belongs to them. That’s why I founded FROUSA.org, and that’s why I’ve stepped forward to run for New Braunfels City Council – District 4
“True leadership isn’t about titles or backroom deals—it’s about service, truth, and the courage to stand with your community.” — Felicia Ray Owens
