May Day NBTX | Community Action Day May 1

Where Our Tax Dollars Go, and Why People Are Speaking Up
F.A.N. is organizing two active efforts over the coming weeks and is currently seeking volunteers to support both.
The Watershed Initiative focuses on protecting local waterways through cleanup efforts and community awareness. Current work includes Alligator and Geronimo Creek, where ongoing runoff and environmental pressure continue to impact water quality across New Braunfels.
Volunteers are needed to support:
- Creek cleanup efforts
- On-site coordination
- Logistics and setup
- Community outreach

Both efforts rely on consistent community participation. Some roles are visible, and others happen behind the scenes, but all contribute to making these initiatives possible.
